Question 7: Are ACCSA courses accredited?

ACCSA is a NAADAC approved international education provider of continuing professional development training, and certifications awarded by IC&RC Global Certification Boards, for which we are a registered examination provider.

Question 3: What are the three educational tiers offered by ACCSA?

ACCSA offers three educational tiers:

Tier 1: Individual Courses
Ideal for focused learning on specific topics. Flexible and self-paced.

Tier 2: Course Packages
Designed for students pursuing multiple courses at a discounted rate.

Tier 3: International Certification Exams
Accredited by IC&RC, these exams are available to students who have completed the full counsellor training packages.

Question 1: Where can I find details on courses, packages, and pricing?

Question 2: How can I achieve international certification?

To achieve international certification, you need to accumulate education hours and experience in the addiction field. For example, the CADC certification in our 3rd Tier requires 300 CEU/CPD hours of addiction-specific education and 6000 hours (3 years) of supervised experience. If you meet these criteria, you can apply for the international examination. If not, consider these options: 1. Complete our reduced ACP Complete Addiction Counsellor Package, which includes Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Specialist packages (BACC, IACC, AACC, SACC). 2. Start with the Basic Addiction Counsellor Certificate Package (BACC) and complete each package individually.

Question 4: How do I access my courses after registration?

To access your courses: 1. Visit www.accsaportal.net (not the main site). Click “Login/Sign Up” on the right side of the homepage. Sign up with Google, Facebook, or an email address. Choose a password if using email. We will approve your request shortly. Once approved, click “Already a member? Log in” and enter your username and password. 2. Hover over the “Courses” tab on the homepage. Select your course from the dropdown. Enter the “Guest Area” password from your confirmation email. 3. Access the course page to find all content and information. Manuals are downloadable PDFs, and some modules include videos or other resources. Exams are based on the course manuals.

Question 5: How does online distance learning work?

The benefit of online distance learning is that you can start at any time, and work at your own pace. Once registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with the Online Student Portal instructions, and passwords for each of your modules. Each module includes study guides, manuals and in most cases video content for added assistance. Once you feel prepared for your first exam, you can notify us, and login details to our LMS platform will be sent to your email. You can login and start the examination when ready. Examinations at this level are multiple choice questions. On successful completion, you can download your course or package certificate.
